Hello all,
Finally good news. HR218 and the 8hr Armed Guard class are scheduled for July 18th 2025 from 745-4pm. HR 218 guys you understand the times.
The website is in a system update, so email me at [email protected] to be added.
We will send you the forms prior to the event. Please print them out and fill them out prior to the date, we will collect payment at the site.
Mumford Sportsmans Club for the day.
Please be advised, its at least a 50 round course of fire for HR218 and 100 round for Armed Guards.
Must bring proper firearm, permit, 3 magazines, holster, hearing and eye protection and vest if you are Armed Guard.
Fees have increased this year. Don't blame us, we maintained fees as long as possible.
HR218 $60.
Armed Guard $140.

We are offering the Armed Guard 47hr Fi****ms Training Course. This is the class to be an Armed Guard in New York State.
Must have the NYS Guard Card as well as the NYS Pistol Permit.
The class will be over 2 weekends in September for a total of 5 days.

In typical NY fashion, we've already heard numerous horror stories relating to the inability to conduct transactions for both fi****ms and ammunition.
Two examples include an FFL employee with a NYS permit who recently purchased a handgun but was subsequently denied an ammunition purchase. We also heard of a retired state trooper being delayed when purchasing ammunition.
If the goal was to completely destroy the industry, NY is doing a great job.
