The ZRHS Student Council will host the first of two Red Cross Blood Drives on Friday, September 25th from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in Art Brandon Gymnasium.

The student council has been able to give 2 - $500 scholarships the last four years thanks to the support via blood donations of our community. There are still 31 appointments available throughout the day.

A big THANK YOU to Eric Gayer and T-Street Food Stand at the Du Quoin State Fair!

Mr. Kirkpatrick’s class had their annual Sunshine Picnic Trip to the Du Quoin State Fair today... The T-Street crew helped make it a great day for our students.

We really appreciate Eric ALWAYS being so generous and supportive of our school district and students. Our students had a great time, and we’re thankful for people like Eric who help make days like this even more special!

A huge THANK YOU to our students, faculty, and staff for their patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we worked through this morning’s electrical issues at Zeigler-Royalton High School.

We also want to extend a special thank you to the Zeigler Fire Department, Ameren, and Franklin County Emergency Management Agency (FCEMA) for their quick response and assistance. Their efforts helped us thoroughly check the high school building, identify the issue, and get us safely back up and running.

We appreciate everyone who helped us...Thank you!

Zeigler-Royalton High School will continue to provide senior students with a designated College and Career Exploration Day, allowing them to explore postsecondary education and career opportunities.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, we will be utilizing an ACT Practice Assessment day for our current 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students. On that same day, our senior students will have their first opportunity this year to participate in one of the activities shown in the photos below.
