OV PTO has partnered with Eastlake High School DECA students to help younger students build financial literacy skills. They are creating a Finance Club for Olympic View Middle School students to help them get a jump start in learning about essential life skills such as investing, saving, and money management.

These FREE meetings allowing them to host engaging sessions after school virtually, focused on foundational finance topics like budgeting, stocks, and entrepreneurship.

The main goal is to make learning about finance fun and practical for middle schoolers while helping them develop valuable lifelong skills.

We are in need of 2 volunteers to help us stuff membership forms into 850+ school packets on Thursday, August 20th at 9:30am in the OV office. Email us or comment if you can help out. The more volunteers, the quicker we can be done!

Due to the sensitive nature of the forms, we can only have adults do the stuffing. All PTO volunteers will receive $3 Snacks Ahoy bucks for helping out.

OV PTO gives out staff grants and provides student and family activities. Membership is $15 or pay what you can, even if it is $0 to get on our mailing list! Form also asks about volunteer opportunities too.

Or find us at the Back 2 School business day in the Aux Gym on Tuesday to become a member and get a free snack for every student.

NEW this year, we will have a FREE High Trek Ropes Course for students on Friday, September 25th from 4-8pm. OV PTO members will be given a 5-7 days notice to register their student for Teen Late Night before it is posted on social media pages. Space is limited to 75 students. Look out for an eNewsletter sent out to PTO members on Friday, September 4th.

Come help out tomorrow, August 11th starting 9am so we can make OV's Pirate logo out of fence cups!

Please let us know if you are willing to help out! It'll be a bigger task than the previous fence cups so we will need as much help as possible! Let's make OV look amazing when students come back to school.

We will need:
- a truck to bring tall ladders to school
- at least 5 additional adult help who can work on ladders (even for an hour of help!)
- if you can bring a 10’ or more ladder to school to help

Please let us know if you have one or more of the above. It will take a community to pull this off!
