Another week of first season sports means more amazing games and results. The softball team won both their games and still haven't allowed a single run by an opponent, the football team played hard and took the win against Voyager, and the cross country team continues to rack up great times in their meets. Way to go, Hawks!

It's been an impressive week for sports at Harbour Pointe. Softball dominated in both games, football decisively won their game, and the cross country runners took top scores. Come out next week to see if they can keep their winning streaks alive.

Teacher Feature- we have another Mukilteo alumni in our building. Welcome aboard, Mr. Mukai.

Job title - Health and Fitness, Personal Choices Teacher

How many years teaching? My first-year teaching full-time. I spent last year subbing in Spokane and at Picnic Point Elementary.

Activities you enjoy? - I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and when I'm not with them, you'll usually find me outdoors, playing or watching sports, or trying out a new restaurant. I also coach Cross Country at Kamiak, where I love watching my athletes grow into the best versions of themselves.

Your favorite education memory. -My favorite education memory is from my junior year of high school, when our Unified Basketball team made it to the state tournament. We placed second, and I'll never forget that feeling of pure joy.

Anything else you want us to know?
I am the 5th teacher in my family to work for Mukilteo SD. I was born and raised in Mukilteo and am very grateful to be able to give back to the district that shaped me into the person I am today.
