👑 HONORING OUR FORMER MHS HOMECOMING QUEENS 👑

During tonight’s Homecoming presentation at Hornet Stadium, we were proud to welcome back three former Muenster High School Homecoming Queens and celebrate the lives they’ve built since their crowning moments.

❤️ 1976 Queen Tina Mollenkopf, escorted by Carly M., is married to her high school sweetheart, Ronnie Weinzapfel. Lifelong Muenster residents and former Hornet band trumpet players, Tina and Ronnie have raised their three children- Christina, Michael, and Elizabeth -here. For more than 50 years, they have also been honored to play taps at military funerals with Muenster VFW Post 6205. Tina enjoys tending their flower beds, decorating, and spending time with her family, especially grandchildren Olivia, Mia, Avery, and Henry.

🖤 1996 Queen Jennifer Flusche, escorted by Ava H., graduated from MHS in 1997. She lives in Muenster with her husband, Jeff, a 1996 graduate and owner of Flusche Enterprises. Jennifer has worked as a dental hygienist for 25 years. Their daughter, Haley, is pursuing a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree at TWU, and their son, Logan, is studying mechanical engineering at UT Arlington.

❤️ 2016 Queen Amy Luttmer, escorted by Ava H., is a 2017 MHS graduate and the daughter of Gene and Carol Luttmer. She earned her nursing degrees from North Central Texas College and Texas Tech University. Amy now serves as a charge nurse in the Emergency Department at Texas Health Denton. She continues to call Muenster home and is engaged to Nolan Hartman.

We also celebrate the former queens who could not join us tonight: 1956 Queen Mary Pick, 1966 Queen Jill Swirczinski Kralicke, 1986 Queen Melanie Richey Hesse, and 2006 Queen Melissa Cox.

Thank you to all of our former queens for being part of Muenster’s Homecoming tradition! 👑🐝
