The staff at Moyock Elementary School is excited to welcome our students back for the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare for the first day of school on Monday, August 24, we want to share a few important reminders and updates with our families:

🚌 Bus Transportation: Please plan to arrive at your child’s bus stop at least 15 minutes early during the first seven days of school, as routes may be adjusted and fine-tuned. For safety, a parent or guardian must be present at the bus stop for all Pre-K through 2nd-grade students. Bus assignments are available through the Campus Parent Portal and the Edulog Bus Tracking App.

🚗 Car Riders: Families are always welcome to drop off and pick up students. Please remember that traffic lines are typically busiest during the first couple of weeks of school. To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, please have students ready to exit the vehicle when it is their turn and ensure they exit from the side closest to the school. This helps prevent students from walking around vehicles.

📧 Important Back-to-School Information: Please check your email or Campus Parent Portal inbox for an important Back-to-School message from Currituck County Schools. This information is also available on the district and school websites under “Announcements and News.”

We are so excited to begin another great school year and look forward to welcoming our Panthers back on Monday, August 24!

🍎❤️What a wonderful way to kick off a new school year! ❤️🍎

Today our staff came together for a welcoming meeting hosted by Mr. Parkman and our Instructional Coach, Mrs. Parsons. Both did a phenomenal job at welcoming all the Panther staff by giving all information necessary for a successful school year! 📚✏️

A HUGE Thank you to our Moyock Elementary PTO for providing staff with a delicious breakfast to welcome them! They also celebrated the teachers with the sweetest raffle baskets! Your generosity and continued support mean so much to our school family and help make our staff feel appreciated as we head into a new year. 🎁💝

We want to give a very special shoutout to Moyock Supplement Center for their incredibly generous donation of school supplies for our students! ✏️📚🎒

Andrew stopped by Moyock Elementary with bins FULL of supplies to help make sure our Panthers have what they need for a successful school year. We are so grateful to have local businesses in our community that step up and support our students and school. ❤️🖤
