Today was our first meeting of the year. We missed those who couldn’t make it today, but we still had a blast. We started by reading along with the audio book and transitioned into acting out the stories as we read!

Today is our first Book Club meeting of the year! Today we will hand out books, go over some important information, and start reading “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”!

Attention parents & guardians. Tomorrow is our Percy Jackson party to celebrate finishing the book. We will be watching the movie tomorrow and our normal time will go over to finish the movie.

The movie will be over at 4:30 tomorrow. This is 30 minutes after our normal time so please plan accordingly.

If any member wishes to bring anything to the party, they are welcome to bring it to Mr. Feltners room in the morning.

While Percy Jackson has been exercising our minds and imaginations these past weeks, it was time to get in some physical exercise in! Today we played capture the flag, just like our characters did at Camp Half Blood.

Everyone did a great job! A special shout out to Jonah for being our special referee and a big help organizing the game!

Book Club today from 3:00-4:00! Today we bring the book to life through Capture the Flag. Which team can out-strategize and out run the other to bring their opponent’s flag back to their base?

Just like the campers at Camp Half-Blood, we made bracelets to represent the things that are closest to our hearts and what represents us.

These students did a great job. I admire their creativity and their patience in doing an activity like this.
