✨ NATIONAL PRINCIPAL MONTH ✨

This October, we proudly celebrate Dr. Torazzi, our principal at Terrace Park Elementary School!

Dr. Torazzi is her students’ and staff’s biggest fan! Whether she is visiting classrooms, hanging out on the playground, blowing bubbles at the wolf walk or dancing at the dances, she’s engaged and rooting for you and making every child feel seen, supported, and ready to thrive.
The entire Wolves 🐺 community is so proud to have such an inspiring leader!
Thank you, Dr. Torazzi, for your ongoing leadership, energy, and dedication to Terrace Park. We’re proud to celebrate you this National Principals’ Month!

🧹 Happy National Custodian Day 🧹

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to our rockstar custodians at Terrace Park. You two are always just a walkie away to clean up a mess or help ensure the school is safe and things are working properly and sanitary.
Not only are you two amazing staff member, you are also just a pleasure to be around. Funny, thoughtful and so much love for the students, families and staff in our community!

“Janitor John” as the kids call him has been a custodian for 30 years, working between here and Hazelwood, finally calling Terrace Park his permanent home. John is beloved by the staff and students. The sun never sets in the land of cool for John.

Sandy, has been at Terrace Park since 2021. She’s here when all the events are going on welcoming families and making sure we stay tidy along the way. Her favorite events are the dances, you’ll usually find her singing along and two stepping while working.

We also have a new member of the crew, Paul, he is a part time night custodian working at Terrace Park and another school. He comes from Seattle Schools with many years of experience.

TERRACE PARK THANKS YOU! We may be biased but we think we have the best crew around!!

Today our staff wore orange in honor of the Indigenous survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and acknowledge the lasting impacts of these institutions on Indigenous peoples, families, and communities.
Orange Shirt Day is rooted in the story of Phyllis Webstad, a residential school survivor whose new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day at school. Her experience has become a symbol of the stripping away of culture, freedom, and self-esteem experienced by Indigenous children across generations. 🧡🧡🧡
