There has been some confusion about when the MTHS Volleyball Open Gyms are. The summer schedule is posted below. ​
(Edited to remove July 17th and 18th)

July- 9, 10, 11, 16, 23, 24, 25 All 1-3pm

August- 6, 8, 13 & 15 in the weight room. All 10-11am

Tryouts will be August 26th, 27th, and 28th 2:45-5pm

Congratulations to our very own Bryan Smelcer!

Bryan Smelcer, STEM 12 English teacher at Mountlake Terrace High School, has the new title of Science Teacher of the Year to add to his signature. Smelcer and his students recently returned from the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair (WSSEF) where he received the award.
According to the WSSEF, the award is presented to a participating teacher who stands out from their peers, promotes science or engineering education, demonstrates a strong passion for teaching science or engineering as it relates to everyday life, makes science and engineering fun and realistic, empowers students to learn, exhibits excellence in teaching and encourages science or engineering partnerships within the community.

MTHS FOOTBALL PLEDGE-
A-THON

About this fundraiser:
Budget Cuts. These two words often drive fundraising efforts, and our program is not immune.
Mountlake Terrace Football had 33 helmets "rejected" for re-conditioning this past school year
and these helmets must be replaced for the upcoming Fall season.
As the head of the Terrace football program, it is my duty and responsibility to mitigate injuries
associated with football and I can only do this with proper safety equipment.
We are asking the Mountlake Terrace Community to help us in our efforts to provide safe,
functional and reliable football helmets for the student-athletes in our football program
for the next five years.

Happy Spring, MTHS Families!

With the weather warming up a bit, flowers starting to bloom, and birds chirping, our moods shift to lighter and happier feelings. It's a perfect time to show appreciation to the teachers and staff at MTHS.
