Telluride Adventure Center The Telluride Adventure Center provides information and memorable experiences in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Colorado for all ages.

Do your kids love exploring and learning about nature? Or perhaps they want to become more familiar with the outdoors. We are here to guide them. Telluride Kids Camp provides summer day camps for kids ages 5-14 to play and learn in Telluride’s unique environment. Kids Camp is tailored for young adventurers looking to get acquainted with nature, and EcoX is made for older explorers looking for a ch

allenge. Don’t forget to ask about our special programs and events! The Adventure Center is also open in the winter season. Ask about our snowshoe tours, winter kids camps and snowbike lessons.

Kids Night Out is back this winter!

Our Kids Night Out program is a great way for you and other adults to spend the night in the town while the kiddos are running around with us!
Offered every Tuesday and Thursday night. We could be Night Sledding, Ice Skating, Knee Hockey, or maybe it’s a chill craft night. Plus so much more!

Winter has started!!

Our Winter Adventures are a guaranteed day of fun!
Whether it’s a day of adventure for the kiddos in Kids Snow Camp or Kids Happy Hour.

Approach the slopes a different way with our Snowbike Certification Course or rent one yourself from us.

We also offer daily Snowshoe Tours with local guides that have a deep passion and knowledge in these mountains they call home.

Big day!

Our camp snake which is a Garter Snake had 9 babies unexpectedly a couple weeks ago.
We found a nice habitat to release most of them today!

Garter Snakes like a few other Snakes give live birth rather than laying eggs. So the mother nutures her young while still in her body.

The young ones are ready to take on the world from day 1 without momma!

Lift 10 is now OPEN which means we will start our Top-A-Ten snowshoe tours! Take a stroll through snow-covered forests and breathtaking vistas while accompanied by one of our expert naturalist guides along the way. Snowshoes and access to Lift 10 provided.
