The Zentangle Method was created by artists Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas in the early 2000s after they recognized that drawing simple, repetitive patterns could create an experience similar to meditation. Today, the method is practiced around the world as a relaxing form of creative expression.

The beauty of Zentangle is that you don't have to consider yourself an artist to enjoy it. Focusing on one simple pattern and one stroke at a time can encourage mindfulness, quiet the mental clutter, and provide a peaceful creative break from everyday stress.
