Our Purpose:
To prepare children for success in school and beyond, creating life-long learners. Our program is facilitated and supported by the Wyoming Department of Education and we are observed by representatives of the Department to ensure quality in our program. We utilize research based curriculum that is founded on developmentally appropriate practices. Research shows that children learn best through meaningful play and interactions. Our Staff:
Preschool teachers at CLF have degrees in Early childhood and/or Education. The teachers stay current with changing curriculum, and participate in many local and out of town training. Our class sizes are small, so we can work one-on-one with the children. Infant and Toddler teachers at CLF have their Children's Development Associates (CDA) and their Infant/Toddler Credential. They also stay current with curriculum, and go to training to better themselves and their classrooms. http://www.cdacouncil.org/the-cda-credential
CLF is continuously striving for grant funding to provide the top of the line equipment and supplies.
