The Craig LMS and Craig High School are officially back for another school year! It’s been so great seeing our students reconnect with friends, settle back into their classrooms, and bring so much energy back to our halls. We’re looking forward to an amazing year ahead!

What a great way to start the year!

Our Back-to-School Cookout was a huge success! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, welcome new ones, and have our Craig community together again. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day so much fun!

✨ Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Restieri! ✨

With nearly 25 years in education, Mrs. Restieri brings a love of science, creativity, and hands-on learning to The Craig School. She teaches Science in grades 2–5 and STEM in grades 6–8, while also serving as our Science Supervisor.

Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom. Mrs. Restieri coordinates many of our special science events, maintains our sensory garden, leads STEM Lunch and an after-school robotics program, and is always finding new opportunities for our students to explore and create.

What makes it all worthwhile?

“That gleam in their eyes when something works makes my heart happy! I love being the one to give them an outlet for their creative thinking.”

Mrs. Restieri believes our students’ curiosity and out-of-the-box thinking will help them excel in science and STEM fields in the future—and we can’t wait to see it!

✨ Teacher Spotlight: Laura Given ✨

"It's the students, families, and colleagues who make Craig such a special place to be."

For the past 14 years, Laura Given has been an integral part of The Craig School community. Throughout her time at Craig, she has served in many roles, including Reading Teacher, Reading Chair, Instructional Coach, Librarian, Leadership Council Advisor, Technology Specialist, and Curriculum Advisor.

No matter the role, Laura's passion has always been helping students reach their full potential. She says her favorite moments are when students begin to believe in themselves and recognize that they have something valuable to offer.
