The MLHS chapter of the JrNAD, led by advisors Deanna Richter and Margo C completed a service project in which they gathered donations to make care packages for patients undergoing chemotherapy. This service project was undertaken in honor of former JrNAD co advisor and beloved teacher , Sue Alese. The care packages were donated to the Oncology/Hematology Specialists located right here in Mountain Lakes.

The Lake Drive Program students at MLHS, through the support of school and community donations, were able to assemble 75 care packages which included special handwritten notes of encouragement for patients as they begin or continue their treatment.

Yesterday marked our final Wingman gathering of the school year. As our high school students headed out, we lined the halls and gave them a round of applause to show our appreciation for the positive impact they’ve made throughout the year.

A special shoutout goes to our three Wingman graduating seniors. Thank you for being outstanding role models and leaders for our younger students. 🎓
