Lake Area Foundation (MLAF) was established to be a vehicle whereby citizens could donate to a tax deductible entity, for the purpose of promoting grant worthy projects in and around the city of Mt. MLAF has both endowed and un-endowed funds (such as the Healthcare fund, the Education fund, the Project fund, etc.) which are meant to be used to fund both one time and on-going projects in the area.

The buttons you receive at Maynards for bringing your own shopping bags make a difference! These grants were awarded from the button count last week:
1. Lake Commission - $650
2. Heritage Village - $750
3. Food Shelf - $2000
4. School Field Trip Fund - $550
