Two of our 5th grade classes and one 6th grade class had the incredible opportunity to take a field trip for weather education day at the Oakland A’s game! Many students were excited to be attending their first ever professional sporting event. Some of our Wildcats even got on the Jumbotron! A win for the Oakland A’s, and a win for our Wildcats thanks to the efforts of their teachers putting this together! 🌤️⚾️💚💛🖤

Congratulations to our first ever Wicklund Cross Country Team! Today our school competed in the championship race with all other elementary schools. Wicklund Science Olympiad team competed at the state championship against 28 of the best teams from Northern California from over 200 teams. Our team earned 2nd place overall in the entire state, medaling in 14 events! Next year, our Wildcats will get 1st place and qualify for the national tournament. Congratulations!!! 🏆💛🖤🐾

Tonight was the 2nd Annual Family Night put on by the amazing WSF Inclusion Committee at Wicklund! It was a wonderfully fun-filled and educational event! A special thank you to Trustee Pombo and Trustee Boulais for attending this event! We would also like to thank two of our Specialized Education Department Coordinators, Ms. Kelly DeLong and Mr. Ricky Martinez for presenting and joining in on the fun as well!

Late post, but the Science Olympiad Team deserves this recognition!

Congratulations to the Wicklund Science Olympiad teams for earning 1st place and 4th place in San Joaquin County among 34 middle school teams!

Our Wildcats earned 10 first places, 3 second places, and 7 third place finishes across 23 events. They are eager to compete at the NorCal State Tournament on April 6th at CSU East Bay!
