π€ BOTLEY IS BACK!! π€
The JR Robotics Club had an absolute blast with Botley today! Our young engineers put their problem-solving skills to the test as they designed obstacle courses and programmed Botley to navigate through them using their own custom code.
There were plenty of laughs, lots of learning, and even a few surprises as Botley followed his instructions around the room. Watching the kids think critically, troubleshoot, and celebrate their successes is always one of the best parts of robotics!
As our very first robot, this little blue guy will always hold a special place in our hearts. π
Way to go, JR Robotics Club! We can't wait to see what you'll build and program next!

π«§β¨ BUBBLES, BUBBLES, AND MORE BUBBLES! β¨π«§
This week in Jr. Scientist Club, we're diving into the amazing science of bubbles!
In addition to our giant bubble experiment, today's young scientists created something extra magicalβπ¦ Unicorn Bubbles! π¦ This colorful, foamy experiment was an instant favorite with our group.
The fun doesn't stop here!! Throughout the week, we'll be testing different ways to make even bigger and better unicorn bubbles. Our goal? To build a GIANT fan-powered unicorn bubble maker by the end of the week!
Will it work? Our Jr. Scientists are ready to find out! Stay tuned as we experiment, test, redesign, and discover what these creative young scientists can come up with.
A huge thank you to one of our Jr. Scientist parents for suggesting this fantastic activity. Thanks, Courtney!! We love when our families help inspire new scientific adventures!
Science is always more exciting when it's hands-on, colorful, and a little bit messy! π«§π¬π

πππ What a wonderful day in our K-Ready Club! πππ
Today was packed with learning, laughter, and lots of creativity! We gathered together to read one of our favorite stories, Eric Carle's *The Very Hungry Caterpillar*, and used the story to talk about the days of the week. The children loved following along as our hungry little caterpillar munched his way through the pages! πππ
We also spent time reviewing letters and sounds as we continue building the strong foundation our future readers need to succeed. Watching these young learners grow in confidence each week is such a joy! πβ¨
For craft time, the kids created the most adorable caterpillars, showing off their creativity and fine motor skills. Their colorful creations were as unique as they are! π¨π
Just as importantly, we focused on social skills today. We practiced how to introduce ourselves to a new friend, how to politely ask for a turn, and talked about why sharing is so important. These are big skills for little learners, and they did an amazing job! β€οΈ
I absolutely adore this group of creative, kind, and thoughtful kids. Every week they make me smile, and I feel so lucky to be part of their learning journey. I can't wait to see what adventures next week brings! πβ¨

π§π¬ THIS WEEK IN JR SCIENTIST CLUB... WE MADE WATER DO IMPOSSIBLE THINGS! π€―π¬π§
Our young scientists dove into the fascinating world of **surface tension** and discovered that water is much stronger than it looks!
First, we put our prediction skills to the test with the classic **Penny Drop Challenge**. The kids carefully added drop after drop of water onto a penny, watching in amazement as the water formed a giant dome that seemed to defy gravity! πͺπ¦ Some pennies held far more drops than anyone expected before the bubble finally burst!
Then came the crowd favoriteβ**Magic Milk!** π₯π¨ We added drops of colorful food coloring to milk and then touched the surface with dish soap. Instantly, swirling explosions of color raced across the milk as the soap broke the surface tension. The kids were captivated as they created beautiful, ever-changing designs while learning the science behind the reaction.
There were lots of surprised faces, excited predictions, and enthusiastic cheers as our scientists explored how something as simple as water (or milk) can behave in extraordinary ways!
Science is always more fun when you're learning by doing! ππ§ͺ
