Big congratulations to Kyle Richardson on earning his Arkansas High School diploma! He also achieved his WAGE I certificate and WAGE II in Business Management and Administration, an incredible accomplishment.

Kyle shared that what he appreciated most about the program was always being able to ask for help when he needed it. He also really enjoyed attending Be Pro Be Proud "Draft Day" event at ASUMH. Kyle said the adult education program helped prepare him for his next goal of joining the military.

Congratulations to Waylon Maroney for earning his Arkansas High School Diploma!

Waylon came to Adult Education seeking better job opportunities and to complete his education, saying, “It needed to be done.”

He shared that the hardest part of the journey was simply showing up, but once committed, he found the process manageable: “If you have the commitment to do it, it’s a piece of cake. The easiest part was just doing the tests.”

When he finished, Waylon said he felt “on top of the world” and is excited about the new opportunities ahead.

His advice to others pursuing their diploma is simple and powerful: “Apply yourself. Don’t rush. Take your time, and don’t give up.”

We are proud of Waylon’s hard work and determination as he moves forward toward a brighter future!

Congratulations to Cheyenne Hallmark for earning her Arkansas High School Diploma and WAGE Level 1 certificate!

Cheyenne enrolled in the Adult Education program with a clear goal in mind: enrolling in college, and she’s made incredible progress along the way!

She shared that the classes helped her stay focused and motivated each day, especially by keeping her engaged and off her phone. Beyond academics, Cheyenne appreciated the supportive instructors and even built a meaningful friendship during her time in the program. She said it best: “I loved it here. It was exciting to wake up and go to class every day.”

Her advice to others? “Don’t give up, even if it gets hard or takes you longer than others. There’s always a positive side to every challenge.”

Because of her dedication and hard work, Cheyenne now feels confident and ready to take the next step toward her future. She has gained a better understanding of what to expect in the real world and in college, and she’s ready to take that next step forward. She has already applied to ASUMH for the fall semester, plans to complete two years online, and then transfer to Jonesboro to finish her degree.

We're so proud of Cheyenne and can't wait to see all she accomplishes next!
