Ray would have loved This horse. Grateful to be breeding some of Rays mares to him. They have some great Genes going for them.

Very Black Magic is going to be competing in the 2021 World's Greatest Horseman in Ft Worth, Texas next month.

How does he make that bend? Is he rigid? Is he tight? Is he mellow? Is he lazy?
There’s a lot of things going on in there if you’ll listen to him.
We don’t notice near enough of the good things he does and while he’s doing those good things, we just take them for granted.

Our last post for the year.

In this short clip Ray is helping the horse to follow a feel by, first, building a connection between the feet and the mind - "to help him understand". Towards the end of the clip you'll see that the connection ends up being between the mind and the feet.
