Time to play. After a great academic awards luncheon at ASUMH, now we turn to a time to play at the Get on Stage with PTK Family and Friends Talent Show at 6:00 p.m. in the Vada Sheid Convention Center. The event is free and open to the public. It is supposed to be a family friendly show.
It's Friday night. If you are looking for some clean comedy or want to hear some music, come on down to the Sheid at 6:00.
--If you want to enter an act, be there at 5:00.
Time to Show YOUR Talent.
Friday, April 24, 2015, will be our Talent Show. Be part of the planning and performing by going to our PTK Blackboard site at bblearn.asumh.edu. The show will start at 7:00 p.m.
Our Small Business Entrepreneur Business Expo has been scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2015, from 10:00 to 5:00. Set up of booths begins at 9:00.
We will be charging a booth set up fee for the business to have a booth to sell its product and to make contacts with others who might want to sell their product or join a franchise.
Additionally, we will offer break out sessions with speakers offering information on such topics as "Social Media for the Small Business person" and "Quick Tax Information for the Small Business." We will also offer time slots to participants who would like a opportunity to address an audience about what their company or franchise offers.
So, we need a team to begin a marketing plan, an outreach to small businesses and small franchise owners, and an advertising plan to the community so people will attend.
If you are interested in being part of the planning and organizing of this event, go to Discussion Board to sign up.
Mrs. Heslep has already agreed to have PBL involved in helping to coordinate the speakers and topics element.
We could still use a dead Disney character or two tonight and tomorrow night at the haunted house. Message me if you are available either night. Costumes are provided.
