Girl's State applications are now available and will be available through January 31st and are due February 6th. Applications are in my office. Boy's State applications should be out soon...

I can hardly believe we are in the last couple of days of Christmas break...it has gone way too fast! Second semester class schedules will be handed out during first period on Monday. Go to your first semester, first period class and you will get them there. If you have a different class, you will go to it after receivinig your schedule. I hope you had a great break and will see you Monday!

Next week everyone in the junior class (that I have emails for) should receive an email about an online SAT prep course that has been made available to you. If you don't get it, let me know so I can make sure you get the information.

It is so hard to believe that the first semester is a mere 2 periods from being done! Hopefully the first half of the year went well and you will have a great break and come back renewed for a spectacular 2nd semester!

In an attempt to make this page more functional, please make sure you share it with your classmates. I would really like to have this be a common resource for the class of 2013 and could be a great way to disseminate information!

Sorry for not keeping up on posts...I'm hoping to do a better job. Any second semester course correction requests need to be taken care of ASAP. Please stop by my office to find out what (if any options) may be available to you.

You found it here first....sign ups for the PSAT will be opening soon. Make sure you get signed up early because there is limited availability. This is the test that qualifies you for the National Merit Scholar program!

Hopefully by now your are starting to get into the swing of the new school year. Don't forget....if you took an IDLA class this summer, it is finals week and you need to schedule your time. Also, the next ACT test is going to be here before we know it and the registration deadline is quickly approaching. If you need information on how to sign up, stop in and see me!

Ready or not...it's here! Don't forget school starts on Wednesday and we will be following a 1:30 schedule. Classes start at 7:50a.m. and schedule reprints will be available in the small gym that morning prior to class (for all of you who had schedules grow legs and walk away)...

Are you taking one or more online classes? I reviewed IDLA grades today and am a little (alot) concerned about some of the grades I see. Don't be a procrastinator and think you can pull it out at the end. Get caught up and back on track before you end up stressing yourself out!

It is so hard to believe that a mere month from today school will be back in session. Hopefully, your summers have been restful, if not exciting, because before your know it you'll be wandering the halls of MHHS again.
