I tell you what!!! We had such a great showing for our Open House last night! I am super grateful for the positive energy everyone brought to the family! I would venture to say that we had over 90% of our parents and students come through the front doors! We are super excited to teach and learn from your precious cargo!

As I stood outside with the kindergartners lining up for the first time this morning, I may have seen almost as many tears from the parents as their little ones. I know, first hand (having 6 of my own), that this is a "tough-ee" for y'all. We are so honored and privileged to nurture and help these little, innocent souls in their lives. 🙏🥰

"Who's my teacher", you ask? Well, we will unlock this mystery this coming Friday, 8/7, after 4:00 PM.

East Elementary class lists will be posted in PowerSchool at this time. You can go directly there and see which teacher your child is assigned to. We will also do it the old-school way and tape paper copies of the lists to the windows on the front doors of our main entrance to the building.

Please understand that we do our best to honor requests on a first come first served basis and take many things into account as we create these lists (balancing teacher numbers, dynamics with certain mixes of students, etc.). We share the best interest of your child/children and appreciate your understanding.🙏🙏🙏

OPEN HOUSE!!!

East Elementary will be having our BACK TO SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE evening from 4:30 - 5:30 PM on Monday, 8/10, for all those who would like to come in the day before school starts. We are super excited for this upcoming 2026-27 school year and hope you'll drop by for a quick meet and greet with your child's teacher. Feel free to roam the building and help your child "get their bearings".

Don't forget to say "hi" to the office staff.😎✌️🫶

The project is my Girl Scout gold award project. It’s the highest award that can be achieved as a Girl Scout. It requires 80 hours of brainstorming, planning, and executing a service project. The project must be impactful on the community and be sustainable.

Volunteers included: Maddie, Monroe, Tallia, Amy, Julianna, Reagan, Raul, Erin, Sabrina, Sydney, Alyse (East's librarian), Melanie, Aiden, and Audrey.
