Did you know our district has a mobile medical unit that makes it easy and convenient for your kiddos to receive basic health services right here at school during the school day?

St. Luke's Health System will be bringing their mobile medical unit to Hacker Middle School on the upcoming dates listed below. The unit will be parked right out front of the school, making appointments convenient for students and families.

Appointments fill quickly, so make sure to schedule your student’s appointment soon!

This Friday, August 28th will be our first dress up day of the year! Join us in celebrating the (almost) end of summer with a beach day! Let's see those shorts, flip flops and Hawaiian shirts!
The school dress code still applies - what should be covered still needs to be covered.
This will coincide with our first Tigers of the Month recognitions, as well as, students' first opportunity to trade in the P.R.O.U.D. Paws they have earned by exceeding our Hacker P.R.O.U.D. expectations for items on our P.R.O.U.D. Paw cart.
It's going to be a great day!

Tonight's the night - join us for back to school night from 4:30-6:00pm!

The first day of school is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11th. We will all gather on the field at arrival and school will start at 8:10am.

Please join us tomorrow, Monday, August 10th from 4:30-6:00pm to meet your child's teachers, tour the school and ask any questions. you might have.
Classroom assignments can be found by logging into your Parent Portal account.

We will also have our annual Title 1 meeting at 4:45 pm in the gym.

The Mountain Home Community Closet is here to help you get ready for a great school year!

Join us this Wednesday from 3:30–5:30 PM for all your back-to-school needs. We have a great selection of FREE backpacks, lunch boxes, shoes, clothing, school supplies, and so much more!

Our Community Closet is open to everyone in the community, and everything is completely FREE. Stop by, see what we have, and let us help your family start the school year off right!

At this time, there is no need for additional donated items. These items take time to sort and require resources that can pull us away from delivering immediate assistance. The best way to ensure people receive the support they need quickly is through a financial donation.

Due to the local fires, our Community Closet is open to support families in need.

The Community Closet will be open May 28–29 from 9:00 AM–3:30 PM and is fully stocked with clothing for the whole family, along with household supplies available at no cost to anyone in need.

Location: Backside of Hacker Middle School on E. Second North St.

Does your student need extra educational support this summer?

Hacker Middle School is offering a FREE 2-week summer program focused on building math skills and improving reading fluency and efficiency.

We are accepting upcoming 5th graders and exiting 6th graders. The program will run:
June 1–12
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM–12:30 PM
