We wasted no time getting hands-on! Yesterday our interns stepped into the simulation lab at Baxter Health learning alongside healthcare professionals and experiencing what patient care looks like beyond the classroom.
There’s something pretty special about watching students put on those white coats and begin exploring the careers they’ve dreamed about! Yesterday was only Day 1 and we can’t wait to see how much they learn, grow, and discover this semester!

We are grateful for MHPS support from our administration, teachers, and school board. It is amazing to see the next generation of healthcare workers come to light!

Yesterday morning, we celebrated our newest White Coat students during their White Coat Ceremony at Baxter Health! These students are beginning an exciting journey that will give them opportunities to explore healthcare careers, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn alongside healthcare professionals.

Baxter Health has put 192 area high school students through its White Coat program since 2021, and 42 of them now work at the hospital. Round 2 of trauma day in the White Coat Internship 🔥
More critical thinking, more teamwork, and more hands-on learning as students stepped into the role of healthcare providers during high-pressure trauma scenarios. So proud of the way these students continue to grow in confidence, communication, and skill with each simulation. 🩺🚑
