TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO COME GET YOUR BELONGINGS OUT OF THE CUBBIES.
Many of my students are past due on their cubbies or have abandoned their GEAR AND THINGS! Please get your belongings and gear by tomorrow. If not picked up I will be giving it away.
Don't forget to check the lost and found as I will be dumping it as well.

This is what karate camp actually looks like. 🥋
Not the polished version. The real one — sweaty, loud, covered in glue and glitter, and grinning the whole time. Scroll through and find your kid. They earned every one of these smiles.
And to the parents — thank you. For the early drop-offs, the packed snacks, the extra hands when we needed them. We genuinely could not do this without you.

Well… that flew by. 🥋
Karate camp wraps up this Friday, and I'm not ready for it to be over.
Ten days of kicks, crafts, mat chats, ice cream cones, LEGOs, beads, belt-tag games, and a whole lot of noise — the good kind. We worked on real life skills every single day, not just punches. Focus. Respect. Teamwork. Perseverance. The stuff that shows up at school and at home long after the gi comes off.
And the kids? They showed up. Every day. With energy, with attitude (the good kind), and with a willingness to try things they'd never done before. Some of them walked in on day one shy and unsure and are now the loudest ones in the room. That's not an accident — that's them doing the work.
We've still got our hydro-dip shirts to finish out the week, which means Friday will be equal parts art project and glorious mess. Wouldn't have it any other way.
To the parents who packed the snacks, wrangled the drop-off line, and trusted us with your kids for two weeks — thank you. Genuinely. We don't take that lightly.
To the kids — you made this camp. Great job, every one of you. 👏
