Students had a special Fun Friday recess activity today.

Images of our first star drawing of the year winners. Students can put their names on the back of their earned Star Bucks and put them into a drawing to win prizes.  I visit every classroom and draw two winners each week.

First grade classes began character development lessons through the Congressional Medal of Honor Society during Flex Time. These weekly lessons address societal values such as courage, commitment, integrity, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism.

The Medal of Honor Character Development Program is a free resource which teaches the MOH core values to students through educationally grounded lessons.

Flex time activities started today. Flex time is designed to provide students with additional specials class (library, math, games, PE, STEM) opportunities as well as time for intervention support

In today’s principal talk we discussed the story of the Tease Monster and differences between teasing versus bullying.
