We will visit the blackberry plantings, discuss current research, and touch on current management practices. If production allows, berries from new cultivars will be available for tasting and purchase!

During a dead tree removal, Maintenance Foreman Josh Behrendsen discovered a bee swarm and notified the team. Shane Dobson, who oversees our bees stepped forward to capture the swarm.

We had a great time with the attendees of our 2026 Distillation Workshop. The attendees gained knowledge about all aspects of distilling and got to join in on distilling a run of rum on our hybrid still. Each participant received a Workshop Certificate of Completion and we look forward to seeing where their distilling adventures take them.

Seats are filling up but we still have a couple open spots for our 2026 Distillation Workshop coming up May 12th and 13th. Registration is $450 for the 2-day workshop where we will cover the basics of distillation and will demonstrate a spirit run of rum on our Bavarian Holstein column still.
