With the extreme heat affecting our area, we encourage everyone to check on your neighbors, especially older adults, those with medical conditions, and anyone who may not have access to air conditioning. A simple phone call or visit can make a big difference.

If you need a place to cool down, please don’t hesitate to stop by the Mountain Grove Police Department. Our doors are open, and we’re happy to provide a cool place to escape the heat.

Please stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
