Do you want to learn more about stabilizing your stream or creek bank? Are you interested in aquatic environments and native brook trout habitat? If so, join us July 14th and RSVP for a BBQ Dinner!

Send jams, jellies or apple butter to the State Fair! You could have prize winning canned goods! We'll take care of transport - just bring us your best jar by July 24th and we'll do the rest! The State Fair does offer cash prizes as well.

Kids Gardening will now be Monday, June 29th from 9:30-11:30 at the UT Extension Office. Please Call 423-727-8161 to register. All 4th-12th graders are welcome!

Local youth got to learn about paleontology, check out some real fossils and excavate some dinos at the summer reading program. Thank you to the Johnson County Public Library for partnering with us for another fun program and to all the youth and parents that joined in.

We had a great day Saturday at the Hometown Service Community Day!!! We had several participants in our baking and canning contests with some great donated prizes from Lodge, Presto, The Garden Barn, Smoky Mountain Co-op and Extension! Congratulations to all the winners!!!
