We are so grateful to former MBE Lancer Charlie Hill for choosing Mountain Brook Elementary for his Eagle Scout project!

Charlie designed and built a Whale Watch for our Roots & Wings area—a low ropes and team-building activity that challenges students to communicate, problem-solve, work together, and encourage one another.

Thank you, Charlie, for leaving your mark on MBE and creating something our students will enjoy for years to come!

Last week, our Kindergarteners started their Alphabet Quest by unlocking the sounds of M, A, S, T, and N!

There was so much fun along the way—from meeting a snake and visiting with Nurse Trissy to exploring nature on their Nature Walk! But the biggest excitement came when our little explorers discovered a skull!

Our students are putting curiosity into action as they ask questions, explore, and discover the world around them. What a fun week of learning!

Our annual 6th Grade Roots & Wings Day at Living River Retreat on the Cahaba was a huge success!

It was a day full of building community, being unplugged, exploring the outdoors, and tubing down the Cahaba!

Our students had the opportunity to put curiosity into action as they explored, tried new things, and experienced the Cahaba in a whole new way. Days like this remind us that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom!

What a fun day of making memories, growing together, and kicking off their final year of elementary school!
