💙 Learning to lead and present starts early!

Kindergarteners are already building confidence and learning how to share their ideas in front of a community. A big thank you to our parents and buddies for being present and supporting our kiddos as they took the spotlight! We’re so proud of Ms. Rebecca and Ms. Cayman’s class!

DID YOU KNOW? Our students are exposed to THREE world languages before 4th grade!

At Highlands School, students explore Spanish, French, and Mandarin from Pre-K through 3rd grade, building curiosity about language and culture from an early age. In 4th grade, students choose one language to continue studying in greater depth.

Today, our 5th graders took a trip to Garrett’s Place to make a difference in their community. 💙

Working together, they filled and packaged 300 hot chocolate jars that will be given to children attending Garrett’s Place Christmas Village this holiday season.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to live out our Highlands Values - putting compassion, responsibility, and collaboration into action while learning the joy of serving others.

Our 1st graders got a closer look at the science behind a butterfly’s brilliant colors with Dr. Chandran, exploring thin-film interference through a hands-on experiment of their own.

Using construction paper, water, and clear nail polish, students created iridescent butterfly wings inspired by the stunning blue morpho butterfly. They also examined real butterfly wings under a microscope! 🔬

A big thank-you to Dr. Chandran for bringing this fascinating science lesson to life and giving our students a chance to explore, experiment, and discover. 💙

Some of the biggest moments in childhood begin with the simplest things: a good story, a curious question, or the freedom to explore something new.

These little moments help children discover the world around them, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

At Highlands, we believe learning should be an experience filled with wonder, discovery, and connection.

20+ schools, meaningful conversations, and a day filled with possibility! 🥳

Our annual Boarding School Fair brought representatives from more than 20 schools to Highlands, giving students the chance to explore new opportunities, ask questions, and start thinking about the next chapter of their educational journey.
