We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to see Bye Bye Birdie at the Virginia Samford Theatre! After performing the show ourselves this past March, it was an incredible educational experience for our students to see a different creative vision come to life.

Congrats to our seniors for all of their honors at Awards Day: Fine Arts Completers, Seal of Biliteracy, Spartan Crest and more. And the Broadcasting Department Award goes to Evie Lee. Evie has been a member of Spartan 2 News since her sophomore year, and she has served as the Media Arts intern for the past two years, earning her valuable live work experience!

What a great day at the Alabama Scholastic Press Association’s State Convention!
Spartan 2 News won All Alabama - ASPA’s top honor for high school journalists.
Senior Mary Clayton Dixon won the Bailey Thomson Award for Editorial Writing and the JB Stevenson Scholarship!
And Kinleigh Freeman earned ASPA’s highest honors for the Alabama Broadcasters Association’s Broadcast Journalist of the Year and ASPA’s Journalist of the Year.
