A creative space in the heart of the forest The school is being left largely intact and retains the charm of its bygone days.

Chilao School is 2,000 square feet of open space with good natural light, located in the heart of the Angeles National Forest, close to Newcomb’s Ranch Restaurant, within a quarter mile of Meadows Group Camp, and surrounded by hiking trails and scenic vistas. Meanwhile, the water in the creek dwindles with a sudden departure that surprises me every year. Two weekends ago we put Winnie's wheels on and gave her a cooling walk in the water. Today there's more wet sand than surface water.

Electric Will and friends stopped in today and enjoyed a little rest at the school before getting back on the highway. The temperature peaked out at 82 on the patio in forever shade, so in the sun it was probably edging toward 90.
