Copied from a friend 🙂

Homeschool styles (in no particular order). There are many ways to do this, and this is not a conclusive list:

* Traditional / School-at-Home
* Classical Education
* Charlotte Mason
* Unschooling
* Relaxed Homeschooling
* Eclectic
* Montessori
* Waldorf
* Unit Studies
* Project-Based Learning
* Interest-Led Learning
* Gameschooling
* Roadschooling / Worldschooling
* Nature-Based / Forest School
* Online / Virtual Schooling
* Hybrid / Co-op Based
* Minimalist Homeschooling
* Literature-Based
* Faith-Based Homeschooling

And here’s the truth:

Every single one of these approaches is valid.

Your child is not the same as someone else’s child.
Your capacity is not the same as someone else’s capacity.
Your family dynamics, health, resources, and needs all matter.

What works beautifully for one family might completely fall apart for another, and that doesn’t make anyone wrong.

You are allowed to pivot.
You are allowed to mix styles.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to do what actually works in your real life.

Don’t let anyone pigeonhole you into thinking there’s only one “right” way to homeschool.

There isn’t.

Looking for sponsors again more now than ever for the 2025/2026 school year. I have already started scheduling reviews in May and June and if you are able to help by sponsoring a single review for a child or able to help an entire family please let me know. Times are tough for so many so I would like to help as many families as possible this year!

People are now starting to book with me to go over their 2025/2026 school year. I have several appointments available in May and June and I am planning a few group reviews for both June and August. Like last summer my July will only be open for email and some video call reviews. Best way to reach me is always my cell either by call or text. Feel free to share this flyer to friends.

January as a homeschool mom hits differently.
No sunshine here in Maine, no money after the holidays and my energy feels completely tapped. We’re all trying to find our rhythm again after the holiday break, kids included, and it feels like everything is fighting against routine instead of flowing into it. I think my kids faught about anything and everything today.

Some days the lesson plans feel heavier, the patience runs thinner, and even simple tasks feel overwhelming. I’m showing up, but not always feeling like I’m doing it well. And that’s hard.

If you’re a mom or homeschool parent feeling the January blues, tired, unmotivated, questioning yourself, please know you’re not alone. This season is demanding, and it’s okay if learning looks slower right now. It’s okay if your best today doesn’t look like your best in September….I know that it doesn’t here.

We’ll find our groove again. The light will come back. Until then, I’m choosing grace, flexibility, and reminding myself that consistency doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. 💙
