Because of our incredible community, care for families welcoming new life at Skagit Regional Health has been transformed.

On February 17th, the Foundation celebrated the successful completion of the $1.6 million Family Birth Center Campaign with a special donor appreciation event honoring the generosity that made it possible.

A meaningful highlight: 25 maternity spaces were named through $10,000 gifts, with donors touring the beautifully enhanced center and seeing the plaques recognizing their generosity.

Together, weโ€™re creating welcoming spaces for new beginnings and exceptional care close to home.

With deep gratitude to our community, the Skagit Regional Health Foundation is proud to share that it recently awarded a $1.6 million grant to Skagit Regional Health. This funding supported important security and aesthetic upgrades to all 21 labor and delivery suites in the Family Birth Center at Skagit Valley Hospital.

The Foundation Board of Trustees and staff raised the $1.6 million through community events such as the Festival of Trees and the ParTee Classic, as well as through the generosity of grateful patients, donors who named rooms, and from dedicated hospital employees who contributed during the Employee Giving Campaign.

More than 100 babies are born each month at Skagit Regional Health.
