Skagit Regional Health Foundation

Annual events include the Festival of Trees, Par Tee Golf Classic and more.

The Foundation's mission is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality health care services and programs at Skagit Regional Health. Tax-deductible gifts are presented to the Foundation in a number of ways - cash, check or credit card; memorial or celebratory gifts, bequests, gifts of securities, life insurance, real estate, vehicle donations or gifts of art.

The Skagit Regional Health Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce a $3.5 million capital campaign to help transform cancer care in our region.

Over the next three years, the Foundation will be raising funds to purchase a next-generation linear accelerator for radiation therapy in Skagit Regional Health’s Cancer Care Center. Funds will also be used to improve access at the hospital, with the addition of 72 much-needed parking spaces.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: 2026 Holiday Card Contest! ✨🎄

Calling all local amateur and professional artists! The Skagit Regional Health Foundation is accepting original, seasonally themed artwork for our annual holiday greeting card, mailed to Foundation donors.

The selected artist will receive a $100 honorarium and have their artwork featured on the front of this year’s card!

A simple act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru and Blood Cancer United for once again bringing comfort to patients at the Skagit Regional Health Cancer Care Center through the Subaru Loves to Care® program.

The cozy blankets patient care kits and messages of hope, they delivered will help provide warmth and comfort to Skagit Cancer Care patients who are receiving infusion treatments.

Skagit Regional Health’s Cancer Care Center saw 2,642 new patients and provided 3,764 infusions treatments in 2025.

Thank you for continuing to help us bring comfort, compassion and hope to those who need it most.

The Skagit Regional Health Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to Colonel Betz for presenting our recent Estate Planning Workshop. Attendees benefited from his expertise, thoughtful guidance, and practical insights into the estate planning process.

Through his engaging presentation, Colonel Betz helped participants better understand the importance of planning for the future and provided valuable information to support informed decision-making.

With warmth, skill, kindness and compassion, Laura “Chris” Nevares, RN, brought comfort and confidence to countless mothers and babies throughout her nursing career.

In recognition of her extraordinary legacy, the Nevares family recently made a gift to the Skagit Regional Health Foundation, naming a maternity suite in the Family Birth Center in her honor.

Laura began her nursing career at Mount Vernon's Rowley Hospital before joining the newly opened Skagit Valley Hospital, where she devoted 28 years to caring for families in the Family Birth Center.

Inspired by the Family Birth Center renovations and room naming opportunities, Laura’s son, Bill Nevares, and his family chose to honor her lifelong commitment to caring for others. Today, the named maternity suite serves as a lasting tribute to a remarkable nurse whose compassion and dedication touched generations of families and helped welcome thousands of new lives into the world.

The 22nd Annual ParTee Golf Classic was nothing short of extraordinary - and we're thrilled to share that, thanks to YOU, we raised an incredible $130,000 for programs and services across Skagit Regional Health!

This amazing achievement was made possible by the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, donors and community partners who came together to make a difference. Every swing, sponsorship and donation helps strengthen the care we provide to patients and families throughout our community.

From the excitement on the course to the incredible support shown all day long, this year's tournament was a true reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together for a common cause.
