What a year friends. So much has happened this year. Would you please be willing to share with me one event from your life? It doesn’t have to be a monumental life changer. Something you’ve learned (how to homeschool children?), something you’re grateful for, something you’ve done this year. Small bits of news about each other’s lives are part of what connects us. Please consider sending me something!! I will put it in the letter that I’m writing that will come to you in late January/early February.

OK everyone - two weeks away from our 20th - yes it’s hard to believe - but it’s here! Who all is coming back? If you are - please consider at least registering that you are coming. That part is free. If we get the largest participation numbers out of the classes THERE IS A PRIZE! Not sure what it is, but we will figure that out Friday night. Come celebrate!

Also, found this gem on my phone - painting the kiosk with Phill - though somehow we got painted too. This was either our freshman or sophomore year. I think. Memory is hazy. That was like decades ago. I can’t remember what day it is half the time anymore....

Oh y'all! One year from now (well almost, Oct 5- 7, 2018, is our 20th reunion! I was back last weekend for Homecoming and it was sweltering hot (gross, I don't do humidity anymore) but wonderful! Set aside that date and plan on coming back! Life is busy, it always will be, we're working on making it a great time, so get your rears in gear!

Take a look at the Cornell website! It will tell you all about the new look and feel of Homecoming. The whole thing is in Mt Vernon - this is a good thing... everyone's together, in MV, etc... Friday night is an all alumni dinner in the sports center. I was skeptical at first, but this was fun last year. Your presence will make it more fun! Then Saturday is football, tours of the new facilities (you'll be amazed) and various other activities. Then Saturday night we're having a party at RJ Holmes-Leopold's house in town. It'll be low-key, fun, relaxing and catching up with classmates!

I was back at Cornell on Friday, brought my friend's daughter up to do an admissions tour. It occurred to me that I never did an admissions tour for any school, let alone Cornell. It was lovely, I'd go there again!
