Registration is required.

Registration begins August 31st 2026

Food may be involved and we cannot accommodate allergies.

Join us at the Fredericktown Community Library for an Adult Crafting Program: Buckeye Wreath on Monday, September 21st from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.! Show your Ohio pride with these mini wreaths, using REAL buckeyes. Hot glue will be used in this craft. All supplies and refreshments will be provided. Supplies are limited, so registration will be required. Registration begins Monday August 31st. Open to ages 18+

Storytime registration begins Monday, August 24th, 2026
Sessions start the week of September 14th, 2026 and go through the week of November 16th, 2026
Baby Storyland for children birth through 24 months and their caregivers - Tuesdays at 10:00 am
Storytime for Twos and Early Threes—Wednesdays at 9:30 am or 11:00 am
Preschool Storytime—Thursdays at 9:30 am or 11:00 am
Family Storytime – Mondays at 9:30 am or 11:00 am

Free and open to the public

The Fredericktown school supply drive was a huge success! Thank you to our wonderful and generous community for helping our students and teachers have another successful academic year. We also want to give a shout out to our wonderful staff members at the Fredericktown branch and Ethan who was pulling double duty as a library worker and Fredericktown Schools teacher!

Join us for Teen Video Game Night Monday, August 31st, 2026 from 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. in the downstairs Multipurpose Room at the Mount Vernon branch. No registration required! This program is for teens in grades 6th - 12th.

You can bring your own games/consoles or use what we have, which includes two gaming PC’s, two Oculus Quests, a Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and our digital Boardgame table!
Snacks and beverages will be provided and we cannot accommodate allergies.
