Our officer team took the day to plan the upcoming school year. We got a lot done and then headed to Top Golf. We had a great time and had lots of laughs! Excited for the next school year.

Three of our members in our chapter went to FFA camp in Muskingum from June 15-17, Conner Thomas, Charlie Banks, and Anderson Seng. While they were at camp they went peddle boating, kayaked, learned how to shoot shotguns, played beach volleyball, and swam. Thank you to Mrs. Seng and Miss plumly for driving our members. They had a blast!

Mt Vernon FFA members had an incredible experience at the Ohio FFA State Convention held at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus!
Throughout the convention, they had the opportunity to listen to inspiring keynote speakers, explore future opportunities at the career show, and connect with over 11,000 fellow FFA members from across the state.

A special congratulations goes to Isabel Barron, who was recognized as a Gold Rated Treasurer at the state level and received her award Friday afternoon. This is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of her dedication and leadership in our chapter!

We are proud of all our members for representing our chapter so well and making the most of this unforgettable experience.

Please join us in celebrating Jadyn Row and Madison Seng, on earning their Ohio FFA State Degree!

This prestigious honor is achieved by fewer than 2% of FFA members across the state, making it a remarkable accomplishment. Jadyn and Madison have dedicated four years of leadership, skill development, expanding their Supervised Agricultural Experiences and chapter involvement.

Their hard work, commitment, and passion for agriculture have set them apart, and we are so proud of all they’ve achieved. Congratulations!

We are proud to announce that Ansley Daubenmier earned 2nd Place in Service Learning Proficiency during the 3rd Session of the Ohio FFA State Convention!

This recognition highlights her outstanding Limitless Livestock project, which was developed in support of the Knox County Fair. Her project stood out for the meaningful impact it made within the community.
Founded by Ansley Daubenmier in 2023, the Limitless Livestock event provides an inclusive opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to experience showing livestock—such as pigs, cows, horses, goats, and sheep—in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Through her leadership and dedication, she has helped create a welcoming space that promotes confidence, connection, and agricultural education for all participants.

The Service Learning Proficiency Award is sponsored by Ohio FFA and recognizes members who go above and beyond in applying agricultural education to real-world service initiatives.

We’re proud to celebrate our incredible Envirothon team for their hard work and performance at the recent area competition in Coshcoton County! Competing against some of the best teams in the region, our students demonstrated outstanding knowledge in wildlife, forestry, soils, aquatics, and current environmental issues.

Their dedication, teamwork, and passion for environmental stewardship truly stood out. 🌎💚
