Mount Vernon Community Preschool Providing education to 3 & 4 year old children in the MV/L community. A mission of UMCMV since 1965. All teachers have degrees in education or a related field.

Mount Vernon Community Preschool is licensed through DHS and offers classes for three and four year olds. We offer small class sizes and a play-based curriculum where children can participate in developmentally appropriate activities. The curriculum is designed to develop social skills and a firm foundation for learning. Preschool Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:30-11:00
Tuition: $125/month *scholarships available*

Update: We have had a tremendous response to preschool registration for the 2026-2027 school year and at this time we are moving to a wait list for the MWF class. You can still fill out the general interest form and if enrollment numbers allow, a Tuesday/Thursday class may be added. Thank you! Contact Ellen Mueller with questions or concerns.

Preschool registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open! Three and four year old classes meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30-11:00. A Tuesday/Thursday class for three year olds is possible if enrollment numbers allow.

** Children must be three years old by September 15th and toilet trained **

Currently we have 8 openings in the three year old class and 2 openings in the four year old class.
