Day 3 of Nostalgic Craftsmas: Beaded Sequin Ornament!
A series where I’m revisiting some crafts from the past to inspire creativity and connection this Christmas.
Today we’re making one of my favorite nostalgic Christmas crafts—a vintage-inspired beaded sequin ornament! These always remind me of the beautiful handmade treasures I find while thrifting.
What you will need:
Styrofoam ornament ball
Straight pins
Sequins
Beads
Beacon Adhesives Power-Tac
How to make it:
-Add a small hanger at the top of your styrofoam ball.
-Thread a bead + sequin onto a pin.
-Dip the pin tip in Power-Tac and press it into the foam.
-Continue adding pins in neat rows around the ornament.
-Keep going until your ornament is fully covered and sparkling!
It’s simple, nostalgic, and so magical on the tree.

This year I am trying to be more conscious of my budget when decorating. So lets make some �Halloween decor on a budget! For this DIY ghost I used a frame that was under $3, rope, googly eyes and Beacon Adhesives Quick Grip. Quick Grip works great on glass. It dries clear, fast and is a permanent adhesive.
My favorite part of this ghost just might be the blush on her cheeks! I just used a pink pigment pen I had. This was a super easy craft you could make it yourself or even get the kids involved.
