The Learning Ladder Child Development Center has been providing quality care and educational programs for children throughout the Mount Vernon, Washington community, I-5 Corridor and Skagit County since 1996. Our purpose is to provide the highest quality child care and preschool education in a secure, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our most important priority is your child, and we strive to assure that your child’s experience at our center is educational, fun and safe. We have a committed staff with many years of experience teaching at our center, providing stability to young children. Our teachers are required to have updated CPR and first aid training with an infant and child focus. They also receive yearly updated trainings on common childhood illnesses and development. All employees pass a Washington State Patrol background check. Our facility features a coded entrance at the front door and closed circuit video monitoring in each classroom. We participate in the USDA food program, providing breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for children over the age on one. Call today to schedule a tour, we look forward to meeting you!

We will be closed again on Friday, December 12th, out of an abundance of caution. Too many closed roads and too much water make it unsafe for our staff. Please be careful and excercise extreme caution if out and about. Should be open normal hours on Monday.
