Our students are using Character Strong programs to learn the importance of creating a positive and inclusive school environment while building the confidence to make a big change! Student presenters stepped in front of their peers today and did a great job facilitating these sessions.

7th/8th Grade Dance: 5:30-7:00 PM

6th graders may stay after school and should report to the Auxiliary Gym until the dance begins at 3:30.

Posey County Schools has partnered with Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet, Inc. to provide quality athletic-style shoes to students whose families may need assistance at the beginning of the school year.

This free program is made possible through generous donations from local industries, businesses, and churches and is available to Mount Vernon Junior High School students.

If you would like your student to participate, please complete the Google form below. Paper forms are also available in the office.
