RN9 students and KCCC preschool students spent some time assessing and evaluating the growth and development of these 3-5-year-olds. They also put together teaching presentations on the importance and how-tos of brushing their teeth and how to move like animals to keep moving and stay healthy.

PEDIATRIC LAB WITH RN9 STUDENTS
Mrs. Chadwick, our Nursing Administrator, graciously allowed her granddaughters, Hazel (4) and Oaklyn (2), to be part of a student assessment.
Students evaluated the girls' growth and development by observing their physical abilities—like running and jumping—and their cognitive skills, such as drawing and following directions. They also performed basic health checks, including listening to their hearts and lungs and recording their height and weight. This experience helped students practice adapting their communication styles for young children.
