Last time I promise…..

🚒❤️ FIRE PREVENTION WEEK AT STARLIGHT! ❤️🚒

Today was such a special day at Starlight Learning Center! Our kiddos had the opportunity to visit with the amazing firefighters from the Mount Vernon Fire Department, explore the fire truck, learn about fire safety, see their equipment up close, and even try on some firefighter gear! 🧯🔥👨‍🚒

For the past 21 years that Starlight has been in business, the Mount Vernon Fire Department has continued to show up for our children and our center, and we are incredibly thankful for their continued support. ❤️

They didn’t come empty-handed either! 🥹 Our kiddos received fire hats and fire-safety goodies to take home while learning important lessons that can help keep them and their families safe. 🚒🎁

As a special token of our appreciation, KK presented the Mount Vernon Fire Department with a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of Starlight Learning Center. 🏆❤️ It was just a small way for us to say THANK YOU for the many years they have supported our center, our children, and our community.

To the Mount Vernon Fire Department — THANK YOU! ❤️ Thank you for your service, your dedication to our community, and for taking time out of your day to educate, encourage, and put smiles on the faces of our little ones. We truly appreciate ALL that you do!

Our kiddos had an AMAZING time, and judging by these pictures… we may have a few future firefighters at Starlight! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒🔥

Happy Fire Prevention Week from Starlight Learning Center! 🚒❤️🔥

🎨👶 Little Artists at Work! 👶🎨

Who says you can’t play with your food?! 😋 Our infants had SO much fun painting with baby food! 🥕🍎💛

Those tiny hands were busy squishing, smearing, exploring, and creating their very own masterpieces. 🥰 This sweet sensory activity gave our babies a chance to explore different colors, textures, and smells while having a whole lot of messy fun!

Judging by those little faces, we think this craft was definitely BABY APPROVED! 😂🍼🎨

At Starlight Learning Center, even our littlest learners are learning through play! ⭐️💫
