We are experiencing some delays when setting up new childcare providers into the Illinois comptroller system. We have made them aware of the situation and are working on a solution.

07/09/2026

As the Comptroller's office continues to work with the new system, outages seem to be occurring during the mornings due to the overnight updates. If you are unable to access the system, please try again later in the day. As we receive updates, this page will be updated.

Notice Regarding Comptroller Site Availability

Project CHILD has been notified that the Comptroller website is currently unavailable. As a result, some certificates entered by our office may not be visible on the Comptroller vendor website or accessible through the automated telephone system.

At this time, we have entered most of the certificates received in our office as of 4:00 pm, July 6, 2026.

The Comptroller's Office has also advised us that, due to the July 4th holiday, there may be brief delays in payment processing.

We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates on this page as they become available.
