One of the things we love most about Mrs. Wilson is the way she takes time every single week to recognize and celebrate our students! ❤️

Each week, she chooses one student from each grade level who has received a Good Citizen Ticket to come down to the office and pick a special prize from her treasure chest. 🎉🏆

While math, reading, science, and spelling are all incredibly important, we believe it is just as important for our students to learn how to be good humans… how to show respect, work hard, and treat others with kindness.

That’s where our West Motto comes in: RESPECT. WORK. ACHIEVE. These three words were chosen by Mrs. Wilson many years ago, and she reminds our students and staff of them every morning during announcements. They are more than just words… they are what we strive to live out each and every day at West.

And these kindergarten and first grade students are already catching on! We are so proud of them for showing what it means to be a good citizen and live the West Way! 💙❤️🤍

Way to go, Warriors! Keep up the great work! ⭐

West Elementary is excited to introduce ParentSquare Attendance Notifications to help keep families informed when a student is marked absent from school.

If your child is marked absent at school and the absence has not already been communicated, you may receive a phone call, text message, email, or ParentSquare app notification. These notifications are designed to help ensure student safety and improve communication between home and school.

If you receive one of these notifications, simply open the ParentSquare app or use the link included in the text or email notification and select "Send Note to School." It's a quick and convenient way to let the school know why your child was absent.

We are SO excited to welcome Lizzie Raben, MSW, LCSW to West Elementary!

Miss Raben is our new Youth First Mental Health Professional, and we are thrilled to have her join our West family! She’ll be here to support our students, staff, and school community through one-on-one and group support, classroom presentations, and so much more.

We know she is going to be a wonderful addition to West, and we can’t wait for our students to get to know her! 💙
