In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to layer
different spring-flowering bulbs like tulips, daffodils,
hyacinths and crocuses in a single container.
By pairing early, mid and late-season bloomers, you'll
create a dynamic container garden that pops with
successive waves of vibrant blooms all season long!

Registration is Required
• Class is limited to 25 people

Camp Counselor Applications close one week from today! Be sure to get yours submitted if you’re interested in joining our team for 2027 Knolmes Camp. Please email Jackie at [email protected] with questions.

We know you’re just as excited for camp as we are, and we are VERY excited to announce that camp counselor applications for 2027 Knolmes 4-H Camp are open now through September 30th! Counselors must be at least 14 years of age by June 5th, 2027, but no prior camping experience is required. Counselors will have the opportunity to plan, put on, and participate in 2027 Knolmes 4-H Camp held at 4-H Camp Ohio while working as part of a dynamic team. Training meetings are held in Loudonville leading up to the start of camp, and interviews will take place on October 28th in Knox County. Applications can be found at https://go.osu.edu/2027knolmescampcounselor, and questions can be directed to Jackie Weisenfelder at [email protected]. Pack your bags, we’re going camping!

We still have a few tickets left in our office, come get them before they’re gone!

📣 Important update: The Molly Caren Agricultural Center conditions are wet but open for business.

A reminder to visitors that the parking areas are mostly sod and this is not the year to drive your sports car or motorcycle to the show. We hope to see you at the show prepared for the weather.

The shuttles will continue to run to the Ag Innovation Demonstrations, Gwynne Conservation Area, and Grain Storage Facility. The drainage installation association, Ohio Land Contractors of America (OLICA) will be at the grain bins all three days. Look for the harvest and tillage equipment that would have participated in field demonstrations located in other areas around the show site.

Shirts are ready to be picked up at our office at 160 Columbus Road right behind Columbia Elementary. The shirts are $20. Please bring cash or a check made out to OSU Extension. I will be at the office today until 5 pm. We open at 8 am tomorrow.

As many of you already know, Lane Mussard, one of our 4-H members and camp counselors, was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I want to share an opportunity for our 4-H community and others to order a shirt to support Lane and his family on their journey.

If you would like to participate, please let us know the shirt size you would like to order. We will collect money when the orders come in. The shirts will be $20 up to XL and $25 for sizes above that. Please reserve your shirt here: https://go.osu.edu/fightingforlane

We would like to have as many orders as we can today to get the shirts in, because many will be worn at the first home football game next week.
