Here we go! Another year, another introduction for those who are new!

Welcome to 6th Grade Science at MVJHS! I’m Miss Gower and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this school year! On this page, I post pictures of what goes in our classroom! Mostly it’s Science Labs, but I also post updates about tests, MVJHS information, and more!

Yesterday evening, the MSD of Mt. Vernon School Board officially adopted Policy 329 regarding electronic devices in the classroom. This policy puts our district in alignment with the Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 78, which went into effect on July 1. Please note: If your student is already enrolled at MVJHS or currently attends any MSD of Mt. Vernon elementary school, you do not need to complete a new student enrollment. Those students are already in our system and will automatically transition to the next school.
