The world is facing an urgent crisis: global warming. As Cornell alumni, we have the power to shape a better future for ourselves and generations to come. It's time to take action and prioritize climate initiatives that focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ), as well as renewable energy sources. Let's be the change-makers and ensure a sustainable planet for all.
Why does DEIJ and Climate Action Matter?
Climate change affects everyone, but it disproportionately impacts marginalized communities. By integrating DEIJ into climate action, we acknowledge and address the intersectional challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds. Together, we can create equitable solutions that uplift communities while mitigating the adverse effects of global warming.
Embrace the Power of Renewable Energy
Renewable energy sources like wind and solar power are at the forefront of combating climate change. By shifting our reliance from fossil fuels to clean energy, we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the planet.
