Rockcastle County Schools will offer a virtual school option (MyRock Online) for students in grades 6-12 for the 2024-2025 school year. All applicants must complete this application, meet all qualifications for the program, attend an orientation session and sign the contract to be accepted into the program. Applying for MyRock Online does not mean that your child will be accepted into the program. The application to apply must be received by August 14, 2024. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted after August 14, 2024, to discuss your application status.

Rockcastle County School District is pleased to announce that we will be offering MyRock Online Virtual Academy.
This is a Virtual Academy that is going to be available to all students from 6th to 12th Grade.
If you are currently Homeschooling or your child is enrolled in Public Schools please take a moment to consider the following information, to see if enrolling in MyRock Online might be for you!

· Free Curriculum with a school provided Chromebook
· Interactive Instructional videos are led by Expert, on-Screen Teachers explaining concepts, modeling, strategies and that also takes time to check for understanding.
· Our System MyRock online will be utilizing will be Edgenuity. Our Edgenuity program offers a broad course Catalog, including core curriculum, credit recovery, test prep, CTE electives and more!
· Customizable to meet State Standards and Graduation requirements. This program can be tailored to align to your district’s pacing plan, scope and sequence and instructional setting.

· Real time educators and Special Education instructors are on hand for any questions, struggles or assistance you may need.
· Serve Diverse learning tools such as reading aloud support programs. Also this program makes individualized Education Program (IEP) easier to accommodate on any project or assessments.
· Parents have access to Family portals and can get daily emails to observe your child's educational goals and grades.
